RepoWrangler v1.1.1

Released 2026-09-05. This is the current supported RepoWrangler patch.

The v1.1 line brings the estate-administration, provider-reconciliation, GitHub cost and usage, and secure update work delivered after v1.0 into one minor release. v1.1.1 adds an administrator-controlled authenticated-session policy.

Highlights

  • Manage multiple GitHub Apps and GitLab tokens or instances under Administration → Connections, including their scopes, credentials, capabilities, health, and reconciliation.
  • Review discovery, billing, and usage runs under Administration → Operations, including progress, changes, failures, retries, and correlation IDs.
  • Preserve organization, group, and repository history across deletion, permission loss, renames, and GitLab moves using stable provider identities.
  • See normalized GitHub budgets, Copilot subscription and seat information, actual product/SKU usage, repository attribution, forecasts, coverage gaps, and read-only optimization findings under Cost & Billing.
  • Evaluate immutable releases and target/controller compatibility under Administration → Updates. Installations without a trusted controller get honest manual instructions.
  • Choose a fixed authenticated-session duration from five minutes through 365 days, or keep access until the browser session closes. Sign-out and disabling the issuing identity provider still invalidate access immediately.

Upgrade notes

v1.1.1 targets database schema 9. Upgrades from v1.0.18 or earlier apply the forward-only migrations 0006 through 0009. v1.1.0 and v1.0.24 already target schema 9 and need no additional migration for v1.1.1.

Back up the database, record the current immutable release or image digest, and follow the upgrade and rollback runbook. Do not treat an enqueued deployment as a successful upgrade; verify health, authentication, scheduler progress, connection state, and representative estate and billing queries after deployment.

The immutable source is the v1.1.1 GitHub release.
